01 — About

A developer who likes shipping.

I'm a developer who likes shipping things that people actually use. My work spans custom web and application development, data analysis and visualization, and rapid "vibe coding" — prototyping working software quickly with AI in the loop.

On the engineering side I work across PHP, Python, JavaScript, and C#, and I'm comfortable deep inside content platforms like WordPress, SharePoint, and Drupal — building custom plugins, directories, and integrations rather than just configuring themes. I'm also an SEO obsessive: I've taken policy pages to the top of Google, rebuilt a high-traffic site for sub-2-second loads and clean Core Web Vitals, and tuned enterprise search so the right content actually surfaces. On the data side I turn messy inputs into dashboards and visuals that make a decision obvious — and I lean on modern AI tooling to move from idea to working prototype fast, without cutting corners on correctness.

Member Intelligence Hub

A WordPress plugin that replaced a four-tab member list with a single search surface. It reads about 800 companies and 18,000 people straight from the association's membership system, refreshes itself every three hours, and adds four public directories plus an analytics view—expertise, geography, and growth all derived from the export itself.

Staff directory for a trade association

Replaced a hand-typed staff page with a plugin: a searchable directory that sorts itself by surname, an admin-only form for new hires, and a spreadsheet import that shows every change before saving it.

Faith-education platform for kids & youth

A ground-up WordPress build for a children's and youth faith-education nonprofit. I hand-coded a custom block theme and brand system, a library of illustrated lesson pages, and an interactive app that surfaces a saint for any day of the year — then added free membership and donations, plus a Grades 1–12 curriculum across twelve sites, each with its own style guide.

  • Own and administer nacds.org end-to-end — a high-visibility healthcare-policy and advocacy platform serving ~70,000 unique visitors — setting digital strategy across application development and data operations.
  • Led the full-scale 2025 website relaunch: sub-2-second page loads, improved Core Web Vitals, and a zero-downtime migration with a 301 strategy that preserved search equity and lifted session duration and click-through.
  • Own SEO strategy with Google Analytics 360, Search Console, and keyword targeting — drove the "DIR fees" policy microsite to #1 on Google and grew organic traffic across priority healthcare-policy topics.
  • Architected enterprise search (Elasticsearch) and structured-data/schema markup to surface relevant content across NACDS policy and archival libraries.
  • Direct content governance across enterprise CMS platforms — templates, workflows, permissions, and editorial standards — ensuring accuracy, accessibility (WCAG), and regulatory compliance.
